Tackling Homelessness

Homelessness is a complex social problem with a variety of underlying economic and social factors such as poverty, lack of affordable housing, uncertain physical and mental health, addictions, and community and family breakdown.

Make Big NPACT

Transitional Living Programs are designed to help young people who are homeless transition to self-sufficient living. Angel’s NPACT will provide financial literacy education, life skills resources, counseling services, and aftercare services. Services includes Interpersonal skill-building,  vocational educational opportunities, Individual, family, and group counseling.

Mentorship

Mentorship is the heartbeat of Angel’s NPACT.  Overall, findings support the effectiveness of mentoring for improving outcomes across behavioral, social, emotional, and academic domains of young adult’s development. Mentoring programs are a modestly effective intervention for youth at risk for a range of psychosocial and interpersonal problems.

Our Value

  • We believe in promoting community building skills
  • Our role is to be care advocates, not case managers; friends, not service providers; community organizers, not the sole source of respite.
  • We treat every young adult as an individual capable of making one’s own decisions.
  • We provide all youth with voice and choice, in a structured way.
  • We respect the individual diversity, beliefs and decisions of our young adults.
  • We possess integrity and commitment. We aim never to make a promise we cannot keep.
  • We interact as role models.
  • We find creative and smart solutions to a wide range of individual and community needs.
  • We create linkages and empower local communities and our nation to help homeless youth.
  • We are humble and love our roles as mentors; tireless in our efforts to help youth in need; and dedicated to our mission and vision.

Where the money goes

Angel’s NPACT, Inc. receives much of our income through donations. These donations cover operational expenses and help the organization achieve our mission.

History About Us

After planting 17 years as an employee, I strategically developed a concept that thrusted me into entrepreneurship. Combining my love for young adults and their future, with my passion for doing good business, Angel’s NPACT, Inc. was formalized as a nonprofit organization in the state of Georgia on 12/17/2020. Data about youth homelessness and trafficking in metro Atlanta has implications for future research and possible interventions, especially when it comes to the role the child welfare system plays.

Want to get involved?

Registration is pending as a charitable organization with the Office of the Georgia Secretary of State.

GIVE

The power of giving comes from a selfless act – where you simply give from your heart. This act of giving is not tied to any special event, holiday or celebration – it is merely a time when you give from the heart because you want to share what you have, show your appreciation and you give because you truly care.

Sponsor a Child

Monthly donations, you can sponsor a young adult with basic access to healthcare, education, employment, and housing.

Trust

We provide basic and ongoing resources in the form of Street Outreach, Outreach, Mentoring, and Housing Support. Within and outside of these services, we work tirelessly to assess young adults in need, connect them to resources that can help them in their times of need, and help them develop plans to get out of their often untenable or unjust situations and move toward much greater stability.
